Abstract The Robert Dean Avery Transportation Collection includes transportation related items from Avery including 464 postcards and materials from his time as a Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) bus driver. The postcards, dating from 1905 to 2003, depict various modes of transportation, the Panama Canal, and Lake Shore Drive.
